depending on temperature, at 80f / 26 c its reasonable to expect the resin will be hardened enough to lightly sand if needed and be water tight although further hardening will occur over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Sanding resin is a finishing resin that contains additives that keep sandpaper from clogging up. Laminating resin does not have these wax additives and dries tacky to allow a second coat of resin, usually sanding resin to be applied as a finish coat.
